1. What is the scope of networking in future?

Networking flows in the vein of IT Company because without networking it is not possible to have connected environment for your employee.

2. Are there any prerequisites for the courses?

Officially FSM does not have any prerequisites for our courses. The technical level of the course must be clear to the students before they take up the course of their choice. Eg:-CCNA is intended as an introductory level track for those just getting started in networking.

3. Can you tell me what percentage of your trained students have got certified?

FSM has certified approximately 99% of our trained students in various courses at different levels.

4. What is a Bootcamp session?

A Bootcamp session is a hands-on session, allowing students to utilize the knowledge gained throughout the course with the help of an instructor. Laptops are an integral requirement.

5. What is CCNA?

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is one of the popular certificates offered by Cisco. The whole course focuses on Network which includes how to plan, create, manage, and troubleshoot the network. CCNA covers the basic knowledge of IP protocols, LAN Switching Technologies, WAN Technologies, Routing Technologies, and other concepts.

6. What is the career scope in CCNA?

The scope of CCNA is increasing for every passing day. Most of the organizations, schools, firms, are using Cisco products for their networking needs. CCNA is the major requirement either you start your job as a network engineer or start your own business of networking products or networking services.

7. What is changing on the CCNA exam?

The CCNA exam will have a lot of overlap. Actually, Cisco says that the exam will be about 75% overlap from the current exam. That means that even if you are currently studying, you will still be in an excellent position to bridge to the new material. This also means that the current hardware recommendations will still be very valid and crossover to the new exam very cleanly.

The new topics will include 15% security topics. This is excellent. Showing that you have a background in some security knowledge will really add a lot of value to the CCNA certification. A candidate with a strong understanding of networking along with security skills will make a good impact on potential employers.

The last part of the CCNA exam is automation and programmability. This will make up the last 10% of the exam.

8. CCNP, CCIE, and DevNet professional have a core exam and a concentration exam. What are these?

The core exam covers the fundamental knowledge for a given technology to be proficient in it. Upon completing your core exam, you will receive a specialist badge that will be active for 3 years. You have until this expires to pass your concentration exam to receive the full certification. The concentration exam takes this a step further by really getting deep into the technology that you selected your focus.

There are five streamlined options for CCNP and CCIE, then one option for DevNet:

CCNP Enterprise – This will be the equivalent of the current Route. Switch, TShoot Path
CCNP Security
CCNP Service Provider
CCNP Collaboration
CCNP Data Center
Cisco Certified DevNet Professional

9. What is changing about the format of the CCIE exams?

CCIE will still come out to a rigorous 8 hours of exam time. The format is similar, but Cisco has made changes to perform an end-to-end, “assessment of candidates’ skills through the entire adoption lifecycle of designing, deploying, operating and optimizing complex network scenarios”. Network automation and programmability will play a significant part in the new design.

The new breakdown is:
Module 1: Design (3 hours)
Module 2: Deploy, Operate and Optimize (5 hours)

10. Can a fresher do CCIE and get placed in MNC after that?

Yes. In this case, CCIE Training is Career enabler. It delivers the required training and helps the student grow an expert level skillset in the given domain. 99% of our students are freshers. They complete CCIE R&S Training in 7-8 Months and CCIE Security Training in 10-12 Months, after completion of which, they get placed in different companies at different packages depending upon their skillset.

11. What is Python good for?

Python is a high-level general-purpose programming language that can be applied to many different classes of problems.

The language comes with a large standard library that covers areas such as string processing (regular expressions, Unicode, calculating differences between files), Internet protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, XML-RPC, POP, IMAP, CGI programming), software engineering (unit testing, logging, profiling, parsing Python code), and operating system interfaces (system calls, filesystems, TCP/IP sockets). Look at the table of contents for The Python Standard Library to get an idea of what’s available.

12. What are the benefits of cloud computing?

The adoption of cloud computing by organizations has increased exponentially in recent years, due to the efficiency and cost saving benefits that this computing model promises to deliver, which is especially appealing to organizations with limited IT staff and/or limited IT budgets. Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) in particular, can also substantially benefit from the cloud computing model for the delivery of software applications as a service, which offers many operational and administrative cost saving advantages over the traditional model of on premise software delivery for software providers.

13. How will I know which cloud computing solution fits my business needs?

As with on-premise computing solutions, any business that is considering moving to cloud computing needs to have a feasibility assessment completed for their organization to ensure the selection of the proper solution that meets the goals of their organization. Considerations such as which cloud computing model to use (public, private or hybrid) is one of the outcomes of a cloud feasibility assessment. In addition, a cloud feasibility assessment can also provide insight into cloud migration requirements, which will shed light on which cloud solutions your business should consider for implementation.
